Fixed it, shouldn't happen again. Would only happen when creating an initial save file, but doesn't at all now.

Controls are as sloppy as the Picross (GB) game. It took me a while to get used to after being playing Pokemon Picross on the 3DS, but finally beat it :D

You mean Pokemon Picross? You can always reset the date to midnight (move at intervals of 9 minutes or less to avoid locking) to get more picrytes from Daily Training. I didn't payed a dime and got everything in that game.

If you think moving 9 minutes in the clock takes too long, just bite the bullet and set it to midnight in a morning you know the next day you can play long. Just remember the time so you don't forget it.

BTW, when I adjust the time, I make sure I play a quick game to save (to avoid the 24h lock). Also you can move the time backwards or forwards, but the game keeps track of time too, hence why I play to create a save before moving the clock again

That makes sense, but I think I'll stick to the old fashioned method of "wait for the time to elapse normally". Maybe I'll speed things up once I need to grind for the Mega Pencil.

Most of this game's challenge is not pressing on the wrong tiles due to the slippery controls.

You can learn Japanese Hiraganga Katagana. e.g. Beginner B is dog or "inu like inuyasha" C is Kazeguruma Kaze wind Kuruma wheel/car. D is "runner or rannaa." E is Bulezaa or blazer (r and l is used interchangeably.) I hope this helps the beginners.
