Agreed this game takes way too damn long to complete. No reason for the game devs to force us to get true jedi for both story and free play. They definitely knew that this was a mistake as they reverted it for the Complete Saga.

187th Master. Loved this game as a kid and still play it now again on different consoles. The set itself is good and I like some of the challenging deathless achievements.

I think that stud multipliers should be allowed for the deathless achievements. Maybe I'm wrong but having stud multipliers enabled doesn't seem to affect the difficulty of completing the level deathless.

I really wish the stud multiplier extras should be allowed for the deathless... I feel like I am having to shoot myself in the foot for the deathless ones, since I will likely have to do the level again for True Jedi as well, plus the extra grinding to get more studs sometimes since I can't do it passively now.

so... I just found out that if you skip the minikit's stud bonus, it actually gives you LESS than if you DON'T skip it? you get 50k for skipping and 100k for not skipping??? why????????

Worst Experience i've ever had with a Lego game, thanks to "Death Star Escape" deathless and the absolute broken Stud Economy in this game, being 2 Million for x2 and 8 Million Studs for x4. And the Super Stories are annyoing, requiring you to beat all of the levels on Story AGAIN.

I thought the deathless achievements would be annoying but I ended up enjoying them. Nothing too hard and it makes you come up with little strategies.

For studs and unlocks, once you have all the golden bricks you can build a stud fountain in the courtyard. It showers you in studs, just run laps around it with fast forward (TAB by default) and you get all you need in no time. A real little victory lap.

mastered! that was awful due to bugs and the game crashing. on the battle of Endor mission in e6 i had one crash when using the AT-AT to blow up the wall to continue, and a bug right at the end of the level. where you need to pull the 2 levers together to make the forcefield go down and then set the detonators. the force field didn't go down and the levers stayed down so i was stuck and had to reset. i enjoyed the no death challenges they were really fun :) thank you for the set

People here getting bugs left and right. I've finished the story and cleared all stages in free play and deathless up to the end of episode V, and so far I have not run into any terrible bugs. The only sketchy thing that happened to me was dying as R2-D2 by falling off pits while still holding the x button. The game lagged and that made it so my input didn't register properly. I'm pretty sure it's the emulator though, since I've played this in original hardware and this didn't happen to me. One tip I have for deathless is to always bring Boba Fett with you, it's a completely broken character. His blaster does double damage, he dodges incoming fire, and he can hover in the air, which should make bottomless pits relatively harmless.

Mastered. Fun game, the deathless cheevos weren't as hard as I was expecting, and collecting everything wasn't nearly as grindy as I anticipated. One you get 99 bricks and unlock the infinite stud fountain, just fast-forward and go around it a bunch of times to rack up studs really fast. For deathless, just use Boba Fett and the TIE Intercepter for everything, it makes it a piece of cake, even the final deathless achievement just took a couple of tries. Great game, had fun.

You can apply all the stud multipliers at once to get up to x3840. If you went to a double zone it would be x7680. LOL. In the fountain you can get up to a billion studs in like 30 seconds.

Mastered, the deathless ship levels were pretty tough, but not overly, and not having it include player 2 makes them better than the ps2 ones.

Mastery #6! Replaying this game right after the first LEGO Star Wars really helped me to appreciate all the improvements and new features this game added. In the first game only force users could build objects, but now many objects can be built by any non-droid character which made the world feel much more interactive. Drivable vehicles was also a huge improvement; I remember having so much fun as a kid driving the landspeeder around in Through the Jundland Wastes and Mos Eisley Spaceport levels. I also loved the little vehicles that could be built in some levels, it was so funny to be able to start driving an ice cream truck or tractor around. The space levels were also very well done, I really liked Rebel Attack and Into the Death Star.

Although I loved all the effort put into each level, some of them felt a bit too long which was only compounded by how many times I had to replay them. We have to beat each level in story mode, then in free play to get all collectibles, then sometimes again in free play for the deathless achievement, then yet again for Super Story. My biggest complaint with this set is that it doesn't allow earning the deathless achievement with stud multipliers enabled, which is a ridiculous choice that needlessly wasted my time. For levels where I beat story and free play without getting the deathless achievement and missed True Jedi in one of them, I'd have to do two more playthroughs since I couldn't do them both at the same time. Counting Super Story, this meant I had to do some levels five times which managed to take a game I love and turn it into a chore.

Honestly a fun game that I'm glad to revisit after all these years. The deathless achievements were intimidating and took a couple attempts, but never took too long for me.
The longest part was honestly saving up for the x4 and x6 multipliers, not allowing stud multipliers on deathless attempts did mean a lot of wasted time.

I'm sorry, but this game never worked for me on my Dolphin and I don't know why... Only the European version works because it doesn't cut to a black screen unlike the USA Gamecube version of this game, can someone please help?
