This set is a knowledge check set. Idk why people aren't getting that from the later more indepth cheevs. The level restriction doesnt even matter compared to the actual restrictions and boss challenges later in the game lmaooooooo

While I mostly agree with the sentiment of playing the PS1 version for an easier set, I definitely take some issue with equating not wanting artificial level requirements with "wanting a free set". This is an old school 30-40+ hour RPG here. For most adults, that's a significant time investment.

I grabbed the patch folder from the GitHub but when I try to run the game after patching it, I go to a blue game crash screen. It seems there's 3 different PPF files. Do you recall which one works? I am starting with European MD5 and have tried each patch individually and all bring me to a game crash.

Completed this set yesterday and I need to address the level cap controversy in the comments here; they add almost nothing to the time spent completing this set. You can grind out the JP for every class on every character and only have to level them down once. Yes, it's boring to have to do it all at once, so I split it up, but you don't have to. This version's set took me ~95 hours to complete (I timed it outside the game) whereas the original's set took me ~67 hours (also timed separately), and I attribute most of the extra time to the extra content and the Warriors of Light achievement.

Or, you can take the challenge aspect of it seriously and "under-level." The level caps are similar to the levels of the enemies in the fights, so you'll be getting around 10 exp per hit; the two or three levels of headroom one has (don't forget, you have all of the level's EXP itself as well) are plenty. If the any% speedrun can unlock Calculator without over-leveling, so can you.

Or, you can use Steal EXP to earn JP. It's not perfect, but it'll mitigate level growth. Regardless, as someone mentioned above, like it or not, this set is a knowledge check.

Anyway, thanks to @siouxerskate for this set and especially for keeping on top of achievement issue tickets. Clearly they care about the game and this site a lot.

Mastered! This is a really in-depth set, lots to do and the challenges are hard but fair. You will need to grind A LOT, so get ready for that!

Off topic, but this game is rather bad for being the so-called "Pinnacle of Trpg." The battles are either piss easy or infuriatingly hard, where no amount of strategizing can save you and you must rely solely on RNG, and this is exacerbated by the game's lack of quality of life features (restast for a simple one, was this developed for the atari?) features that many games from the same period possessed.
