Yep, I know. It's part of the subset to dodge the attacks of every enemy in the game. Similarly with Superstar Saga, the core set has you defeating the tutorial bowser without taking damage and the subset repeats this. The core set has that achievement hugely overscored though, whereas I matched the score for Shrowser here due to it being at the end of the game.

Hmmst, might give this a go eventually. My only concern might be potential over pow-ing.
Also maybe im big blind, but I couldn't find what base rom region is needed.

^ The original set requires the Europe rom, so it's safe to assume you need to patch that one

@Hyraoo - Basically just don't use the bonus to level Mario's POW, as he has the highest base POW out of the 4 the restriction is based on his POW.

And the Europe rom is what is used for patching, same one for the original set (that manurmad also mentioned).

I'm confused.. on Bizhawk, I couldn't get Shrooblet to trigger. I saved in the village after avoiding every battle, then went back to try again, but didn't work.
Tried copying the save and try with melonDS in Retroarch, also didn't work. Then I restarted a file on Desmume, and it actually triggered during the tutorial, which the description says it shouldn't trigger..

Does it expect specific battles for some achievements? I can't trigger Pidgit/Gnarantula now. Tried meeting them together and Pidgit only/Gnarantula only. Tried battling a few different enemies, and tried actually defeating one of them even without the icon.

(Using desmume now, since it seems the others don't really work)

Ok, so I was having trouble with the babies' achievements triggering, so I did 2 things:
-updated retroarch and cores
-restarted the game and this time didn't skip the hammer tutorial
Since other achievements were working, I want to say it was the tutorial skip that did something the set didn't like.

Never mind, I give up. Previous save I could activate RC Shroober, now neither adults nor babies are activating anything.
If anyone can recommend a consistent way to do stuff, I'll come back later.

I see so europe it is. Was wondering about it, as I seem to remember OP talking in an older thread about maybe using the US version. Excellent, that makes this a whole lot more manageable whenever i get around to doing this.

So apparently the set is checking for a specific range of level too? So I can't be too underleveled for a battle?
Eeh, didn't expect to have to be forced to grind levels for a set like this..

Great set, thanks Blendedsea! I was worried about this at first given how hard the Superstar Saga perfect dodges set looked, but the relatively generous level restrictions, along with Bros. Items being allowed in a lot of places makes it much more managable than you'd think.
Shoutouts to the random 5 point miniboss fight against Kamek on Yoshi's Island being the second hardest achievement in the set right after Elder Shroob phase 2. Haha.

Wow awesome! I did not notice the set had been released, I absolutely loved the one for superstar saga (even if I needed to do the final boss in softcore!).

Also quite happy to see the achievement scores are more fair this time. The ones for the superstr saga subset were heavily underscored.

Well... this was way easier, and shorter (13 hours) compared to the star saga subset (61 hours). It was a funnier experience overall thanks to the bosses during less than 50 turns, but also a little bit disappointing thanks to some breaking game stuff like endgame items or a few allowed badges.

I might get dogpiled but I would've expected some more difficulty like using the usa version having more tanky enemies or limiting the item use as Rubellit suggested in the forum.

Maybe the BIS subset could find a balance between these 2 sets (and boy the gauntlet could fix that).

To be honest, its likely many might be finding this set easier due to the better telegraphing in this game compared to SS due to the higher pixel count. But that's just my thoughts ( I still need to get around to this when I've finished my other backlog, I did this type of set when I was a kid and loved it ).
