Yeah hears hoping. I'm getting back into ps2 era rpgs that I didn't get to play back in the day. I was a xbox kid mostly. So I've always wondered about this series. As soon as this drops I'm in.

Seems weird that this of all games has so much trouble getting a set, it's a pretty straightforward JRPG. And not a very long one either.

I remember I had to use a cheat code to make it so touching save points didn't crash the game. Would hardcore mode even be possible for this game?

@Davhvid123 I went through the entire series a few years ago on PCSX2 and didn't experience a single crash.

I heard there were a couple save points that caused issues but the majority of them work fine.

Actually, the save points that crash the game are listed under fixed issues fortunately. So i assume as long as you use the nightly, it shouldn't be a problem. Never hurts to make a save state just in case though

There's also an issue on U-TIC Battleship, if you don't open the door using the U-TIC Card during the story events, you'll never be able to open the door again via Simulator, the game will crash doing so.

Save Points have been fixed via patch. Technically its a game bug instead of an emulator one. IIRC the reason is that for some godawful reason the game calls an exit function if the picture that gets shown with the savedata exceeds a certain size. Which inevitably gets triggered when emulating. So, they reduce the quality a bit via patch to avoid it.
