I think there should be a few more achievements because it seems to basic so far. Like beat Doomsday both time without dying or do one of those flying sections without getting hit. Or even win X amount of lives etc...

Probably cause you used to be able to use the stage skip cheat to unlock the entire set, but that finally got protected against. I'm sure plenty of people took advantage of it.

Cheats block all achievements, and the descriptions doesn't need to be updated because players must play without cheats naturally

A couple notes about the revision: For 1-up achievements make sure you don't have 9 lives already or achievement won't trigger since counter won't increase.

For Shoot'Em Up achievements level skip is allowed. But make sure to use it only on in-game levels. Using it on cutscenes may lock the achievements.

If you did once you can do it again. Unless you exploited the set vulnerability of skipping levels with zero effort.

I'm so glad you listened to my feedback, I didn't remember this until I looked for this game again. I remember when I saw this set 3 years ago it was just "beat the game, get a badge" type of set. I stopped playing here for a couple of years and now that I discovered Retroarch came back and the set is now improved with several of my suggestions. Thank you!
