You have to do exactly those lines in any order, not more not less.Is there a way to fix the input lag of this game? It feels fucking horrible. I dont mean i would master it easily or anything, but i have seen videos of the puzzle mode and i cant move the pieces as fast. Or i am missing something?

@Erodion i do not any know about input lags. I've had some problems to moving pieces in Puzzle mode faster as i can while the wall where the pieces spawns blocked the controls. It's different to Game Boy Versiob^^

@Erodion: to move faster, the idea is to buffer the input (left or right) before the piece spawn but when the active piece cannot move or has just been locked. Though the game is still hard (on later levels, both in classic and puzzle modes).

Its not only the moves, also the rotations. I tried the arcade version and it feels much better.

@Erodion: The idea, like in TGM, is to minimize the number of rotations, so you need to buffer them before the next piece becomes active. It takes some time getting used to it, but you will soon learn the colors of each piece.

Actually, i activated the logs on retroarch, and i saw that it gave me some problems with synchronous cd access method. I changed it to pre-cache and it seems to work better.Also i read somewhere ( cant find the quote now) that the way this game handles the DAS its slow or something and eats rotation inputs. This is noticeable if you press a direction before a piece spawns and try to rotate it.

On Tetris Wiki ( https://tetris.wiki/Tetris_Plus ), it said that the DAS delay is 10 frames, which makes fine for a normal Tetris, but too slow when you are near (or over) level 20, hence the few people who managed to clear 500 lines. I guess hyper tapping is the way to succeed...

+1 above, I think this set needs a revision. Classic has enough hard achievements for the entire set, and some of the Puzzle mode stages are quite unforgiving (5 fail limit is harsh.) Makes these achievements feel like an unnecessary grind.

Holy moly the controls feel stiff, if ya need your tetris fix its not bad. the speed increase is terrible tho, at level 17+ if your not a god at tetris your gonna stack.

coming back to the game again hoping to complete the set before the cube release and its still hard

i think the 250/500 lines done for classic mode along with 250 for puzzle mode are really unrealistic to complete.

if those 3 were gone i think this would be achievable but thats just my opinion

this game is fine, but it's easily my least favorite tetris game that i've tried. for difficulty, the TMG games are the way to go, and for chillin', i'll just stick with GB or puyo tetris
