the platinum medals seem near impossible for me, even with a maxed character.

Some platinums are very, very technical. As I already got them some 3 or 4 times in the past, I am trying to find the patience to grind it all over in some courses... so I'm stuck in 10th place on the leaderboards withour a mastery. :P

Golds are no problem, but these times for platinum are crazy. Also freestyle scores are huge.

If you want to know about versions, check the Supported Game Files on the left side. That will tell you (usually) what you need to make the game work.

From my experience, Kick Doubt was the hardest platinum medal in the game. The gate challenge on Gravitude was pretty intense too.
