"For anyone struggling with the Drift challenges, I'd strongly recommend using a fully tuned up Suzuki Cappuccino with Manual Gears. Once you're on the track put it into 2nd and never change it. The max speed combined with the short wheel base make the Drift targets for each course very manageable!"

Tried for HOURS with other cars...to no avail...did it in a few tries with this car...very easy. Keep it in second gear and press B when you are about to collide...very easy.

Mastered. So, this was a game. No idea how you would call this "racing simulation" but sure. Don't worry about it being in Japanese, most of the important text is in English, you won't need a translator.
Do worry about being bored, however. This game might get more challenging as it goes, but not enough to matter. OST is mid, few tracks, cars all feel similar to drive... Not an in-depth experience. But I guess its good for a couple afternoons.
If you wanna master this game, a couple points you should know:

> Drift grip is only good for the Drift events and maybe FWD cars, in any other situation, racer grip is better, since it helps take corners sharper and makes faster cars much easier to control.

> Slip stream is weird here. It's like a speed buff you get from tailing real close to an opponent (maybe at least 10m away) which you keep for a short time - once it runs out you slow down back to usual pace near instantly. Not sure ai can get it though.

> I have found that 95% of the time, the car with the highest top speed is the best. You will spend a lot of time cruising at max speed, so the higher it is, the faster you are.

> The drift events hide 3 cars to unlock. They may speed up the championship mode if you get them early. Here is a short guide on the events: the point is stringing uninterrupted drifts together. If a drift is long enough, the combo increases by one. The combo can only end if you exit either the drift, or the track.

Personally I used the ASL Garaiya for this, but any RWD car with decent acceleration will do. Keeping you gear at 3rd with manual transmission makes it easier (keep it around 110-120 kmh). I never lot go of gas, and continued switching directions of the drift by lightly applying the brakes to keep it going. Scored points only where I knew I could hold the drift long enough without crashing. This way I got a combo of 50 on the first track. No upgrades required.

As far as budget racers go, this one is: ok. Yay!

After completing the "Professional Class Turbo Party" race, I managed to get the achievement
"Get a gold trophy on Professional Class Turbo Party". But the game immediately freezes and the emulator turns off. I use Dolphin. I tried it twice, the result is the same.
How to fix it? Use another emulator?

P.S. The problem occurred after completing this stage on a Suzuki WagonR RR, when the game announced the "Racing Brake" award. Now I tried to complete this stage on another car, everything went well)

Mastered. Cool game but I always refer to it as Gran Turismo from wish. Drifting challenges were the hardest. I will post my comments from the individual achievements here too.

1st course - Toyota - NSX-R, manual, 3rd gear. Straight forward enough if you use the advice I mention below.

2nd course - Toyota - NSX-R, 2nd gear. Start from the last left hand corner and just slide back and forth all the way to the finish line and beyond. You can get 15 combo this way.

3rd course - I used Daihatsu - Midget II in auto. I started doing drifts on the tight bends leading up to the final straight so I could get some before that straight.

One thing I did do on all drift courses is that I would never fully press the accelerator, I would always tap it. Change direction as soon as you get the +1 combo to keep it going. Change direction again if you haven't got the +1 if you are going to hit something or go off track

@pt123, I'll just say it so others don't have to - The NSX-R is a Honda, not a Toyota.
