Finally mastered in 6 days and 15 minutes according to my page. I don't know if that was counting the several breaks I took or not but It was definitely one of the more fun times I've had with this game in a hot minute

And finally mastered! I took a small break from this because I was disappointed I wasn't the first to master it but due to it being put on bounty I think it was worth going in and finishing it.

Pros: Nearly everything. Better gameplay, better layout, better controls, interesting changes to stages, expert mode feels like an expert mode, no need to play 10 times to get the real ending.

Cons: -The Red Rings and some S-Rank missions are obnoxious. The Red Rings are generally placed in harder to reach or obscure areas that need a lot of thinking to find and get. Some rings are in places you need to exploit the physics to reach. For the S-Ranks, I could only get with CCG. There is no reward for collecting the Red Rings or getting all S-Ranks other than bragging rights so if it weren't for retroachievements I wouldn't have went ahead to get them.

-Expert Cosmic Fall is garbage. Way too much of a difficulty spike.

-Minor complaint, I wish instead of needing to play 3 times to get the last ending it should've been 5, one for each path. That way one can experience every level in the game at least once.

As for the set itself, very challenging. If you haven't played Shadow before and want to get into this set then I highly suggest playing the other versions first, this set expects you to know what you're doing to beat it and the challenge achievements are harder for sure.

Is there any plans for a 326 subset? As id much rather do that gauntlet in this fixed up vrs than the PS2 set.

Mastered after playing and speedrunning this hack for almost 3 weeks.
I have to say, I love the original, but Reloaded got me hooked like a few games ever did, and I'm still not done playing it.
If you are one of the few people to like Shadow the Hedgehog (2005), please give this hack a go, you won't be disappointed.
Fantastic work by the devs, this is truly awesome.

Hello! Guys, can you explain, how earn achievements about "Defeat bosses in Expert". I got how to enter Expert bosses, by pressing X. but.. what do you mean by "one session"? I defeated boss and game back me to level select.

I may need some help. Getting A Ranks is a walk in the park, but I can't seem to get an S Rank AT ALL on any stage.

I posted how scoring works in the forum. To summarize:
- Go fast, don't die. The time bonus is big.
- On dark/hero missions, try to earn dark/hero points and avoid the opposite. The bigger enemies and gold beetles give a ton of points and are worth slowing down for.
- Special weapons and androids aren't required, but they make a lot of missions easier to S rank.

If you mean select a specific Expert level, yes use 'X' instead of 'A' to enter a specific expert level from select mode.

Great setand very fun, it looks very intimidating at first but you quickly grow acustom to the games controls and minor jank and then the S ranks start rolling in.

Highly reccomend.

the author doesn't plan on a 326 subset (which is fine, these take time) but i'd try going for that set so it'd be cool if anyone else takes the job (if that's possible, not sure how the authoring system works)
