Finally got around to mastering this one and its subset after a year. I had like a dozen achievements left to get for the past 10 months or so. Finally got around to doing one last run through the game to pick 'em up.

I enjoyed this set thank you, getting to Granin from The Pain naked was indeed the hardest one out of all these, but thanks to VSilverwings' strat for the docks I got it, scientists in final room weren't as bad as the dock. First time I actually got all Kerotans too, very satisfying (looking at you Runaway Kerotans).

i need some help, i beat the game but i got the last achievements as softcore? the last ones like defeat volgin, the duel with ocelot, defeat the boss and complete the game are softcore but everything else is hardcore, those last achievements were done in the same session and i didnt change my emulator settings to softcore so i dont know what couldve happen

It is strange, however that shouldn't be a problem if you happen to replay the game for a big boss rank saving during the fight with volgin and doing the achievements again, or while keeping a leech on you.

Be sure to reset those achievements to unlock them again properly.

There are reasons as to why the emulator switches to softcore, you might be using some graphic settings that are not allowed, or other things can void the hardcore mode.

For sure you should receive a notification from the emulator if a switch happens.

If it happens again and you are sure you never reset settings, touched any graphical setting or emulation setting, then probably even better to contact the devs of the emulator with a log file.

The sunset is what you're looking for for disc 2. Disc 1 is MGS3, disc 2 is Metal Gear 1 & 2 (and maybe some other stuff I'm not sure) and disc 3 I think was special features. The whole of MGS 3 is on disc 1.

Currently the Subset of MGS3 includes everything you find in Disc 2 (Metal Gear 1-2, Snake vs Monkeys, MGS3 Duels and alternative movies). That is what you play when you load it.

The Disc 1 is what you need to load if you want to play the main game. Disc 3 should not load anything that I recall.

I see that you properly loaded both the main set and the subset on your profile page, so you should be able to earn achievements for them if you load either Disc 1 or Disc 2 respectively.
