^Yes, it's a private server. Arguably should be considered a "Hack" on this site since it makes some game design changes from retail. Many of them were designed to make the game more like vanilla, but there are some original changes AFAIK.

Currently the Job Level Achievements do not unlock live. These require talking to Lorekeeper Isa in Lower Jueno. These most likely won't be able to unlock live until sometime after our rebase project is complete. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

You're more than welcome to submit replacements if you'd like. However, the client unfortunately does not have achievement pop-ups like an emulator.

I like the game, and the private server has a ton of add ons to help in terms of QoL, but I think I would only enjoy this if I could stop the time and have a couple of homies playing with me, for a month or so. Running from a place to the other is damn long tho, and the worst thing of it is dieing to a mob, which makes you do the same 10 min walkie... I would love to play it but can't right now...

I wonder if this means we can get achievements for other online private server MMORPG games. Turtle WoW, Toontown Rewritten, Star Wars Galaxies Legends, and City of Heroes Homecoming are just a small few that immediately come to my mind. (I prefer Toontown Corporate Clash more imo but it already has its own set of in-game achievements) I think that would be pretty cool.

After getting all achievements on Xbox 360, I can give a rough estimate.

If you have a group of 5 others who can do everything with you 16 hours a day, playing nothing else, assuming the Horizon team haven't implemented any oftthe QOL improvements Square implemented in newer expansions, you *might* have all of these achievements done in about 6 months.

If you want to really max out the game - so all jobs levelled, all story content done, double that to at least a year.

Add another year if you want all Relic going and crafting to 100, and another year on top of that if you want to max out prestige points.

This game is no joke lol. I had my fun with it back in the day, but without being into able to import my character from the official servers, I just cannot be motivated to do it all over again lol

In case it wasn't clear earlier, my previous time quotes were if you have the perfect setup, and know exactly what you need to do, spend time farming for gear, get decent drop rates etc, all with the time sinking structure of the game that was in place back in 2005.

As I fully expect most people to NOT have that perfect setup, not have the ability to spend 16 hours a day on this game, and spend a good amount of time looking for party to level up and find assistance with many of the quests, expect this completion to take a very long time.

The people who have completed this I suspect are those who played before it got an achievement set, or perhaps when it first got the set as I remember a lot of people being assisted at the time. And that's not including the subset completions.

16 hours a day for 3 years? I don't think enough people here have sponsors to pay the bills while they play... I probably play like 16 hours A WEEK.

I played a couple months last year and completely dropped it until I come back to play this week with a friend. While I agree the game is time consuming, the set itself doesn't require to max most of stuff and it's very friendly to people who wants to explore the game but do not want to stop their lives to sink all their time in a game. Currently I am at 18/109 achievements in a very slow pace and plan to master it without an ETA.
