Mastery #4: I gave this one a shot because it was a part of the main set for so long and I though it was only fair to try. It was pretty brutal. LLL accounted for most of the run. THI was second worst and took multiple attempts, but it was still nowhere near as bad as LLL. No regrets completing this, and I'm glad they're a subset.

Very late to say it, but I need to anyway, I F*cking HATE this set, and would feel the same with Sunshine if not worse, more so because it WAS Part of the base set for me to master, LLL almost made me break the controllers I swore to take care of, thankfully managed to break nothing, other than my own sanity.

But because I had to do it, again, I DID get a badge because it was part of the main set, but I gotta be honest, after everything I went through with this one, I feel like the badge is a massive waste of space, and reminds me that not every set can be good. Sorry about being harsh, but I really need to say that if you value your time and sanity, DON'T stand near this set, after you reach LLL, everything went to hell, would never recommend... Sorry...

Mastery #6, this set is a mixture of rage, madness, insanity and coins, I had a really hard time trying to master this set, lethal lava land and tiny huge island are the levels that made me rage and want to give up the most, rainbow ride almost made me rage but surprisingly was really easy, just the blue coins were a bit challenging to get, I definitely don't recommend doing this set unless you wanna go insane, I think I'll take a break from any SM64 related thing for now...

I feel like we're missing the Secret Levels like Caps and the Slide; if the Bowsers count, then it would make sense to me they would too.

Ah... the "good" old times where these were in the main set. I was in pain, true pain. Buttt after enough prevail I did manage to get all of em. And honestly its really difficult. Definitely play this AFTER masterin Vanilla Sm64 >_<

ONE OF THE WORST SETS THAT HAVE EXISTED ON THIS WEBSITE.

I kid you not, if you are able to do this set, you are worthy of winning 1 million dollars in a casino. The amount of RNG for collecting all coins, especially in the later levels, is 100% brutal. It literally feels like the coins have its own AI that tries to not be collected. This is painful. If you want to suffer, try to play this set. I wouldn't even make my biggest enemy on the world play this. This. sucks.

The only stages that you'll need to be careful is on lethal lava land, bowser 2 and tiny huge island, other stages might be easier, if you know pretty well of sm64.

Love these types of sets. Makes you learn and appreciate all the little things in a game that most people never bother with, ever. Like that dipshit bat in Hazy Maze Cave. lol.

Mastery #9! Had a real hard time with some of these (Lethal Lava, Tiny Huge and Bowser In The Sky with very easily missable coins) but a lot of fun with the set.

apologies if a silly question, but do i need a special version of the ROM game file in order to unlock these achievements? i've mastered the regular set, but this subset doesn't show as available to be unlocked when i launch the game in retroarch

Since this did get moved into a subset, I personally would enjoy if more coin-related achievements were added if anyone was ever interested in developing it. With the secret courses plus potentially glitches and farming, there's a good amount of potential to match the breadth of Sunshine's subset.

I'd totally understand if I'm in the minority in this, though, especially since my understanding is a lot of people got masteries for this from doing the set of achievements that are here now in the main set before they were moved.

This might just be one of the most unfun things to ever be crafted by a human being. This might have to stay unmastered because of how ABSURDLY awful this is. I don't like being this salty, especially towards subsets, but this is just... wow

much like other traditional SM64 challenges such as Coinless Capless Cannonless, the A Button Challenge, and Iron Mario, this set is tedious as heck, but I guess now I can say I've done this at least two times.
