I like this game alot, but it's quite "short". King's Field IV is much better. :)

And Mastered. was definitely a challenge, especially finding and crafting all of the rings. Ended up saving myself some trouble and combined the 14 day and Ringless challenge into one run.

If you experience texture glitches when using magic, saving the game, or leaving a menu, try enabling "Disable Partial Invalidation" in the hardware renderer fixes.

I forgot to leave a mastery comment! Mastered! Thanks for the set malasdair, it was a lot of fun. I always enjoy these old FromSoft games (though imo Eternal Ring as a game is a tier or two below King's Field 2 and Shadow Tower)

Did you know it's possible to beat this game melee only (with the sole exceptions being that you have to melt the ice on certain blockades with fireball)? I didn't think it was possible, but you can just barely hit the dragon boss if you time and angle your attack correctly. Blinge on YouTube has an entertaining video on it.
