In order to play, you must press Start on controller 2 at the title screen

In Retroarch, Mesen core, I couldn't find the tournament time setting, and by default it seems to have a much shorter timer than it's supposed to. FCEUmm has the setting and works.

That million is tough using a wireless controller on tetris. I had to switch to wired. Mastered

I was brought here because of DD1 and this was tough. I grinded two days to get past 500k. I personally suck at Tetris so won't be getting a mil but this made me get better! I had a great time, it's nice to see I would at least qualify back in 1990. I wanted to share this video I found for some solid tips!

I guess im confused, I switched to FCEUmm as recommended from the above commenter since mupen likes to stop around 5min mark. I checked the dip and its at 6:15(tournament), yet when im playing tetris the timer at the bottom passes 6:15 and says leaderboard failed, but the game keeps going for a good 2min longer. Not sure what to do but obviously I cant submit leaderboard scores OR complete any of the score related achievements.
Not sure if it has anything to do with it since no one else seems to be having issues, but the timer keeps running during all the game switches and death screens and loading screens, but adding it all up it equals ROUGHLY 2min. Not sure if timer is supposed to pause during game switches or not, since there is no in game timer its impossible to tell, but regardless there is SOME setting in this core thats disabling my ability to play.
(note the fceumm core is a fresh download, so all settings are default)

Couldn’t fix it. Some setting in RA must be overriding my core settings, no matter what I put the dip switch to, it stays at 7:49 (which is strange because that’s not even the default)
Ended up just downloading RALibretro, and that seems to be working just fine (except SMB stutters to hell and back) but at least scores are getting recorded

anyone knows if there is a way to activate a timer to keep track of the time? Maybe in Retroarch? I just lost myself...too noob :(
