@diablo666 Acts 4 Are Accessible Through Level Select Just like the "Test Zone" Only Some 4 Acts Are Finishable "Normally" They are: Sunny Shores, Dark Fortress And City Outskirts Act 4 The rest of the zones with act 4 are Unfinished like Misty Maze

I suspect that Sonic 1 Megamix has some random crashes due to a Memory Leak problem - the more you play the game, this issue is more likely to happen. Sega CD edition build (4.0) is more unstable than Mega Drive edition build (3.0). However, the game can be fully playable indeed.

I suspect ML problem because crashes are random which seems to be an Unstable Exception: There is NO such a static trigger for that to happen, but doesn't happen everytime.

- However, 2 Stable Exceptions happen on this game:

a) Select "Final Zone" option on Sonic 1 Level Select menu to instantly crash the game. This happens due to an oversight in game code where the game "doesn't find" FZ stage correctly due to attempt of loading an invalid Zone/Act IDs, calling an invalid stage.

If you want to select for real FZ on S1 LS menu, select "Scrap Brain Zone 3" instead. As a result, it's impossible to select real Scrap Brain Zone 3 there. If you need to, try from Megamix LS menu instead.

b) Select any Act of Labyrinth Zone on Megamix Level Select menu and complete the stage to find all letters bugged when you go back to menu. The next act you select would, probably, crash the game. However, if you manage to successfully load a next stage, travel back to Megamix LS menu (Start + A) and everything would be fine again.

Again, regardless these issues, the game can be fully playable! xD

the achievement of beating the game with knuckles is broken...in dark fortress zone act 2 the knuckles route is broken...I haven't found the way out of that part.....at least it's half xD
