I've found the best success with a stylus on my phone.

For the line-drawing movements, go a little ahead of where the pink circle is and you'll get a Nice every time.

For the flicking movements, you have to flick fast and far. It's much easier to do it with a stylus than your finger.

The DS uses a real time clock. Play the game again tomorrow and you should get it at some point.

It's quite playable using the mouse on Melon, but you will lose the mouse pointer many times, so you better remember were you put it or maybe make a green neon pointer that sparkles.

For the "dandelion" minigame, tap your fingers all over the screen wherever there's dandelion puffs and you'll get ezpz.

Some of the final songs are pretty brutal with their charts. And there are some taps that are just not synchronized, even when accounting for the emulation delay.

The difficulty takes a serious jump up on these songs. (Goodbye Starry Sky is also pretty difficult due to timing. Let's Dunk is a refreshing easy songs among all the hard ones.)

There are parts where your stylus will completely obscure the next place you're supposed to tap. I've played some songs with my phone rotated 90 degrees or even upside-down to gain better visibility.

I'm enjoying the game and the set, though! It's pretty cool how they have both the "next move" up top and the dances to help you memorize each song. I just wish the "Nice" cowbell sound wasn't so loud, lol.

It's not harder, actually it's easier with the next step being show on the top screen, the hard part for me it's it not being really synchronized with the music, and it's quite hard to play with the mouse as the cursor kinda disappears when there's too much thins moving on the screen.

This game is kind of a Osu for kids. Kind like Donkey Konga is a Taiko for kids

Clothes: Mostly by advancing the days, just change your system date and open the game, it should unlock all after 10ish consecutive days.

Pom-pom and Headgear - Finish the story mode and get A on all minigames.
