	suspect15 1 Aug 2023 02:41 I made a bad update to the 1-2 and 4-2 leaderboard on July 23 and unfortunately 4 erroneous times were submitted. I fixed the leaderboard and removed the invalid times - my apologies to the effected players.
	ssolle 12 Jan 2024 05:01 so what's the reason for preventing starting the run too soon? i know that rng can be affected by the time you spend on the title screen, but surely that can't be it?

	suspect15 1 Feb 2024 14:34 ssolle, without getting too technical, the achievements and leaderboard take a certain number of frames to initialize properly. This was the simplest way i could think of to make it simple for players.
	sartarobanco 4 Feb 2024 04:56 Mastered. I never did a speedrun before. It was exaustive but fun. Tip: by all means try to do the Bullet Bill Glitch (BBG) on 8-2, or you're gonna be too close to the limit everytime at the end.

	suspect15 27 Feb 2024 16:29 CerealShip, if you click on the "Supported Game Files" just underneath the box art, it'll list which hashes are supported. In this case, it's the SMB + Duck Hunt hash.

	KrispyBagel 16 Nov 2024 23:44 I'm not quite sure what I'm doing wrong, but I guess somewhere along the line I slow down too much, as the 8-4 achievement disappears by the time I finish 8-3. Regardless, I'm gonna keep at it!! Frustration didn't stop me with the Sub-20 run, it won't stop me here!
	supermegadav 30 Dec 2024 17:57 Finally mastered both Sub-5 and Sub-20 subsets. Thanks a lot for these sets @suspect15 I speedran SMB1 on real hardware years ago and I'm way past my prime, but going back to clear it on RA felt extremely nostalgic and refreshing. For runners going for it, I highly recommend downloading the SMB1 practice rom on speedruncom, watch Kosmic's Sub-5 tutorial and practice. It's far from easy, but it's extremely rewarding!
	suspect15 9 Apr 2025 15:28 My pleasure @supermegadav! Glad it brought back some fond memories and huge congrats on mastering it. I couldn't even get a sub-5 during development/testing using save states and frame advance, haha. Mastering thos set really is an incredible accomplishment.
	ARandomPlayer 11 May 2025 11:24 Incredibly difficult challenge, you have very little room for mistakes and there's many low frame window inputs scattered throughout the run. Because of that, I found grinding out the necessary consistency to be really tedious and frustrating, especially on 8-1, but once you get good enough at the run, executing each level almost perfectly becomes really satisfyng. Thank you suspect for creating this set!
