I randomly stumbled on another Mido's song location, if you stand in the middle of the fish in the fountain in castle town that has the song of storms grotto and play it you'll get a message saying he wants to hear the song of storms.

Is there any in game hints that Mido's song has this function? There are so many of the mask of truth statue things, I've actively sought out as many as I could think of because some of them give you really cool hints like opening underwater chests with hookshot so it's kinda wierd that at least of the ones I've found none of them tell you that Mido's song has this cool use.

I'll take a look tomorrow thanks a lot, from what I saw I didn't find any place that talks about them, I found these messages because in the original the butterflies indicate that there is a grotto nearby so I used the ocarina and the music box appeared, I thought it was really cool find all

Found another Mido location, Castle Grounds in the lower flowers near the water. He tells you about the Song of storms grotto in contorted gorge.
