You can also just fly for a long time so you lose height. Takes longer but makes it way easier. But since you can do it even when the star is already collected it shouldnt be a big issue.

Also like banjo said, the star hitbox is at the bottom of the sprite. So no RNG

I enjoyed this set/hack. This was a case where the set made the game much more enjoyable. Overall pretty simple and nice for a casual set to break up some of the really tough mario games.

#M78 I really enjoyed this rom hack definitely top 3 of all time , very interesting look into the early stages of mario 64, I loved the city stage idea felt like doing quests.

This was a solid set, I really enjoyed the challenges a lot! I thought Mario's 13th speedrun challenge was a little insane but the rest were perfect!

Mastered! I liked this set a lot, I just wish the challenges were a bit more on par with each other. I feel that some of them were incredibly easy while others were incredibly difficult.

That was a fun set except for like, two early challenges. getting the one star while flying wasn't a complete pain but WHY is Luigi's challenge for course 3 so MEAN

"Mario's Challenge 1: Flying Behind The Gate" is exactly the type of achievement I hate. Why would you do this? That's not even a "challenge" or what, that's just random stuff to make an achievement off it. Climbing to the cannon, just to go back downhill and get the star in the prison is just so dumb. This is stupid, but the fact that the achievement doesn't count if you bonk the wall is beyond me. Why would you still add this if in addition of being random and stupid if it doesn't work properly?

I'm assuming the reason bonking is not allowed is because you can technically just wall jump into the wall and bonk to get the same effect. It's easier to add triggers where bonking is just not allowed to ensure the player actually did fly into it. It's probably not impossible to allow bonking though, I'm unsure. As for why it exists, it's called thinking outside the box to create a miscellaneous achievements, it's 100% better than the mundane speedrun and damageless cheevos, which too many sets have for the non-progession cheevos.

No, the bonk means "after collecting the star", not bouncing on it. I mean I got the star while flying but I bonked after grabing it and it didn't give me the achievement. I'm ok to think outside of the box, but sometimes it's way better not to go too far. I just finished the game and the other achievements are not like that, they're way better and challenging. This one I mentionned is still a mistake to me, not challenging, not fun, it's just "do that for the sake of doing it".

Once you collect the star, is it impossible to bounce or move in anyway because mario will do the bounce cinematic, and also I could have make the bonk to work by using the bonk ID as mem with the fly ID as prior, but it would remove the challenge of this achievement.

Mastered! The speedrun challenges were tough, but not impossible with a little muscle memory (got a couple by the skin of my teeth lol) I forgot you can warp to stages from the start menu, which made retrying challenges relatively quick. Thank you for the set and have fun! ^^

#M7! This was a fun set! I echo evansfm428's remark regarding this set adding so much more to my enjoyment of the game. All the challenges were creative and mostly fantastic! The Luigi ones especially made really good use of the differences in Luigi's moveset. In the case of both plumbers, I found the No A Press challenges to be a lot of fun, and encouraged usage of the funny Z+B forward somersault!

I did find Luigi Challenge 3 quite annoying, but the minimap helps with it, at least! :3

Speedrun challenges were tough, but fair.

Mario Challenge 1 took two goes at it, but that was it. Was pretty solid, IMO.

All in all, likely my favourite set so far. :3

Sweet hack, it's a pretty unique experience for fellow SM64 enjoyers (unless you played the hell out of B3313 then nevermind)

Mastered this gamma64 of Mario 64 rom hack some of them are difficult worst challenges of Mario and Luigi like in levels and damagess. Never do that again in hardcore.

I really enjoyed a lot of the challenge achievements in this set, they really added a fun extra challenge to a hack that otherwise pretty much would have been lacking any challenge
