For "Warm up the Buster", it is not really clear but I tested. You can't buy anything from the shop, and you can't use any other weapon in the entire stage, even the rooms between the bosses. So if you're with Mega Man, you need to take damage to proceed through the spikes. Those worms CAN drop health rarely, so you can recover your life if needed.

An interesting challenge. Sadly, as it completely lacks basic progression it is pointless to attempt it right now as it will eventually be demoted for unknown amount of time anyway.

This set looks like it should be a bonus set. The core set should indeed be about progression and collectibles. It's on the Incomplete Sets list.

I seriously wonder why bosses have to do No Damage with BOTH characters. I think once with any character would have been enough. However, the progression of playing through the game twice with Mega Man and Bass is okay.

ufff .... I try so hard as I can, every Boss with Bass is so awful about the lack of damage. Tengu Man with Mega Man was not so hard as anyone thought. Burner Man, Astro Man, Dynamo are much worse. Ground Man's Mine II is actually not possible without any video.

Gotta agree with some of these comments. I'm tired of seeing classic games we love have tryhard sets (or a handful in a set) just to appease about 5% of the community. I want to enjoy playing these games while getting achievements (with some challenge) instead of struggling / replaying certain parts for 10/25 point's.

I will say this isn't the worst offender on the site or close to it. But do we really need to beat every boss with basic buster and no damage with both characters... At least this set doesn't have the worst Megaman achievement most of the other ones have (beat the game without collecting any of the hearts/tanks/armor).

If everything needs to be a challenge for that 5% that's what subsets are for.

Softcore for those who want save states.
Hardcore for those who want to play the original way with some challenge.
Subsets for those who really want to show off their skills.

me agradan cuando hacen logros donde hay que realizar cierta cosa de otra manera, pero oye ¿!vencer a todos los robots masters sin daño y puro buster?¡, eso deberia ser un subset si yo tambien quiero jugar otros juegos y no estar en el mismo juego para conseguir unos miserables no damage que parecen más que lo hicieron así solo subirse el ego.

Esse conjunto é muito subestimado, Principalmente a do "BossRush só no Buster" pra mim todo set foi de boa, ou sou bom demais hahaha na verdade a única conquista que achei difícil de fato foi a do BossRush, pois eu pensei que poderia usar armas dos boss durante as fases depois que derrota um Boss. E não pode, é 100% no Buster quando soube que era assim passei na 2ª tentativa. pois já havia passado todo o BossRush 5 vez da forma errada. Obrigado pelo Set.

Se um dia lançarem um subset só com Megaman de pegar os 100% Cds com ele, eu vou me arriscar a platinar. E "No Damage" em todas as Fases e Boss só com Buster sem Upgrades, e zerar o jogo todo em uma sessão sem morrer e apenas com Buster (essa podendo Upgrade) seria épico. Fica aqui essas ideias pra subconjunto desse game.

Ouch, this set was more difficult than the SNES version, I didn't have as much difficulty with the no damages since the SNES version helped me a little, now with the Bass I had to get used to it a little by pressing the directional pad twice for made dash, along with rapid fire that only takes away one health bar, I wouldn't say the no damages were easy......

MASTERED! This is the last of the mainline classic Mega Man series games, but it was without a doubt one of if not the hardest.

I do agree with a lot of the comments here that many of the achievements can be overtuned and don't always give an equivalent reward for beating them. Dynamo Man and Burner Man's fights should easily be 25 points, and you can make the argument for a few other fights, such as Astro Man and Magic Man with Mega Man, to be 25 points as well. Alternatively, the no-damage and buster-only achievements should be split into two separate achievements. I will also say that once you do the no-hit buster-only challenges, the rest of the achievements can be kind of a drop in difficulty.

The screen crunch isn't as terrible as everyone makes it out to be, although I might find myself from time to time taking some unfair hits from enemies that materialize just off screen, in a game that already has quite aggressive enemy placement throughout its levels. I think this can be managable if you get used to the levels, and by the time you finish the no-damage buster-only achievements, you should be very acquaintenced with these levels.

Overall though, I would only recommend this set if you really know the game and are willing to put a fair share of replays of the levels and attempts into the achievements.
