Wow, there isn't a better example of horrible rubberbanding than this game. For anyone else going for gold medals, the difficulty ramps up infinitely in the later tracks. What worked for me was spending the entire race not attacking and stocking up on weapons, and then unloading on everybody in front of me in the final stretch.

That being said; it is COMPLETE CHANCE whether or not you'll win in No Items mode because of the horrible rubber banding on the final stretch.

This game sucks.
