Story mode skips chapters the first time around, you only get some of them when you select the bonus chapters after beating the main story of the arc.

For those who already mastered and have all the breakthroughs, is there a way to trigger the new achievement "Total Breakthrough"?

Perhaps it would trigger on load, or entering the items menu. I'll try soon.

If you have them all, I can only suggest to ask for a manual unlock either by messaging RAdmin, or by posting in the correct channel on discord. Proof that you have all of them would be required, as the achievements themselves would not be enough.

So I'm a little confused on the revision for this set. The only achievement added was for collecting all the breakthroughs? Even though there was an achievement for each breakthrough? I guess I'm not understanding the logic in this.

The logic is that people reloaded saves to get all the individual achievements, avoiding the grind that comes with getting all of them. There's a big difference between getting 1, and just reloading over and over to get the rest counted as complete, versus actually having them all at the same time.

I'm about halfway through the breakthroughs right now.
Is there any tips on how not to make this so mind numbingly tedious?

Just got fast forward on and backing in and out of the menu but it just takes too long to even get one dragonball with the rng. And thats if I don't miss 1 because I lost focus for a millisecond and need to start again.

I understand why the new achievement was made but its just ruining the end of the set for me.

And thanks for the other various tips from everyone else here.

The Gohan/Virus/Vaccine/30 Second strat was great for grinding the money, but I notcied I was still getting ringed out quite a lot.

I started holding guard as well as down and that baited the AI into doing a grappling move, I ended up winning 90% of the tournaments from then on out. Would just let that run in the other monitor and it was near enough automatic.

Mastered. Thanks for the set. Is quite a grind getting the breakthroughs but working through the subset simultaneously does really help you get some reward as you grind. Recommend as well like thebolak said just buy 9 of everything. Once you have the cheapest ones the more expensive ones can be bought for cheaper in the specific sections but they'll be random but only 2k zenie each once trimmed down just gamble for dragonballs as they'll be 3k each as opposed to 8k zenie

I'm trying to buy everything from the store to see if the Dragon Balls appear.
I have like, 130 green capsules missing and no matter how much money I spend, I only get repeated capsules. Those breakthrough achievements are impossible.

A capsule will reappear randomly in the shop unless you've obtained 9 copies of it. DaleRedfield's comment above was how i went about it. It's a little grindy. Going through the subset helped and it's certainly doable

Then don't do it. You don't deserve to 100% a set if you can't 100% the game. Sometimes, in some games, you will have some grinding too and it's fine.
