 | WKGames 8 Aug 2022 00:01 I understand making this a subset of the original game. However, @Nevermond12 and I already spent lots of time getting all of the Zen Garden plants on the original rom of Plants vs. Zombies. Will this subset require us to restart from the beginning (it requires a separate patch)? I would prefer if the achievements on the original rom remained official (in particular the Daylight Savings Thyme achievement: https://retroachievements.org/achievement/226555 considering all the time I put into it) | ||

According to RetroArch, this took a combined 83:07 in real life time (82:57 on the original set and 0:10 on the patched set because I already had all the achievements except the 200 feet one). For reference, the achievement set for Pokemon Emerald that requires getting all golden symbols in the Battle Frontier took me 40:46, so if you plan on going for this set prepare for an extremely long grind. None of the achievements are particularly difficult but you will need to spend hours on end for a chance of getting a single one of them. I think I got pretty lucky that it only took me this long tbh. Getting all of the different daytime plants could have taken much longer due to the likely possibility of repeat plants. However, if you can get past the grind you will have the ultimate goal of PvZ: the perfect Zen Garden! | ||
