Don't know if anyone else will experience this problem, but when I tried to play Gitaroo Man the left analog wasn't holding its directions properly. Something to cosider if anyone should make cheevos for this version.

One of my favorite series, glad I was able to add it to the site on the PS2. Few things to note if you take this on. PS2 requires much more precision with the analog stick direction compared to PSP's more generous boundaries. Good luck, and enjoy! (I may work on leaderboards at some point, the pointer chains to the stage scores are very messy)

Whats up with the controls? they seem a bit broken on emulator. lots of missed hold notes. never had aproblem on real hardware.

Bone Zone easily the worst stage. I just went softcore to get past it so I could try the rest of the stages, and beat 'em all pretty easily.

Analog stick is still really unreliable in nightly pcsx2 and definitely getting button drops with the symbol sections (mostly triangle), but still feels easier than the psp port once you get used to it

Feels so weird and inconsistent on pcsx2. Ended up just rushing a normal clear because of it. Hope the PSP version fares better.

It seems like PSXC2 is lagging just a tad when the game switches between attack/defend phases. Always seems like the first note is just a tad off sync. Maybe a nightly build will fix this in the future?

I used my DualSense wired for this, and that has a latency of 7.81 ms. The note timings felt precise enough. But what helped me the most was changing the analog stick sensitivity from the default 133% to 100%; I immediately noticed a difference. The attack phases from stage 5 onward demand a lot of precision, combining steep and gentle curves with short and short-medium note bursts, and making that adjustment helped me a lot.

Other configurations I have in pcsx2: audio buffer 50 ms + output latency 20 ms.

Good luck with Sanbone Trio on master, you'll need it.
