Mastered! Probably the most fun boss fights in all Classic Mega Man, and the difficulty is just right (Giant Met damageless can shove it, though). Solid achievement set. If you can do MM1, you should be able to do this one.

Eu platinei o jogo com as conquistas antigas e tenho o troféu com apenas 33% das conquista feitas... bom, bora fazer o novo pacote e finalizar com 100%

A great game, one of the best Mega Mans on the NES, and this time finally with a charged shot, I just didn't like the fact that the corridors before the bosses in the fortresses are not checkpoints, and because of that you need to go through almost half of the stage when you die to a boss in fortresses...

I remember how big of a letdown Mega Man 4 was for me when I first rented it the day before Halloween 1992. I had high expectations after Mega Man 3 & how much I thoroughly enjoyed that game, so playing MM4 for the first time made me understand why I never saw it in any store that sold games until I saw it in the rental store 10 months after it came out & why I never saw any video game magazine covers adorned with Mega Man 4. Yes the SNES was out but it was still young, didn't have many games and Mega Man had enough fans to warrant the game getting a cover on GamePro, Nintendo Power, EGM, etc but it didn't (Dr. Wily's Revenge for GB which came out a month before MM4 on NES did graced a cover of Nintendo Power).

Going back to MM4, I hated the Mega Buster---I especially hated the annoying sound made when charging the arm cannon to shoot the Mega Buster and thought the Buster was just unnecessary & only justified them in creating some of the annoying enemies they introduced to the series starting with MM4. I was glad to see them get rid of the Mega Buster when they made Mega Man 9. The simplicity of the basic Buster-less arm cannon of the first 3 NES games and the simplicity in general of those games made them become the legendary games they did.

I think MM4 is a decent game but not a good Mega Man game and the quality of the NES Mega Man games went downhill after MM3 in terms of stage design, enemies, bosses, music, usefulness of weapons acquired from robot masters, etc. compared to the first 3 games. The lack of remixed Doc Robot stages with the MM3 robot masters returning as Doc Robots in MM4 (I expected the Doc Robot idea of bringing back the previous game's robot masters as Doc Robots to be a staple in the series after MM3) was another reason why MM4 is a big letdown for me. I not only loved the remixed Doc Robot stages in MM3 but also loved figuring out which weapons in that game the masters from MM2 were vulnerable to. MM4 was lacking in that area.

Done with MM4.

I had a lot of fun compared to MM3. Level design was really nice. Exception made at Diveman's Stage at the end you end on Spike on transition without any warning.

Soundtrack was really cool (Ring man and Skull man's stage are my favorite)

The set was pretty fair and a good balance for challenge. Pretty excited to go on MM5!

I consider this to be the best Mega Man on the NES and one of the best games in the entire series. It's where the games truly start feeling refined to me, and the weapons are a lot of fun to experiment with.

This set does the game justice and mostly plays on its strengths. Splitting the buster only and no damage achievements is a great move - some of these bosses would be a major hassle to no damage without being able to destroy them quickly. The one no damage achievement I have any problem with is Metall Daddy, but the timing, placement, and his weird hit box can all be learned and adapted to in order to make it a consistent fight.

Also the lack of a no damage boss rush achievement is wonderful - I don't think those have any place in a core set. Buster only without recovery items? Absolutely. That strikes the perfect balance between providing a challenge without making the bar so high that only completely obsessed players can clear it. I can see pulling off a no damage boss rush in MM5, but even there I think it's a bit much - this set is not a walk in the park to clear but it's very doable with some practice and patience. I'd consider it a gold standard set as far as core sets go.

Absolutely wonderful time with one of my favorite games.

Megaman 4 é um dos meus jogos favoritos de NES, é superior ao terceiro jogo, as batalhas contra os chefes ficaram melhor, alguns chefes do terceiro jogo pareciam mais RNG, mas no quarto, praticamente todos os chefes tem padrão, e eu prefiro assim, as músicas e os gráficos continuam perfeitos, as conquistas mais difíceis foram, de zerar o jogo sem morrer e derrotar a Boss Rush sem morrer e sem usar E tank, Drill Man e Bright Man foram um inferno.

Good lord son! This game was tough. Giant mettaur was the worst of all, as well as diveman stage hitless with those whales... toadman stage hitless... ring man stage hitless... the list goes on. Good luck to whoever has the courage to master this bad girl.

MASTERIZADO #24! O mega man clássico que eu menos tenho experiência, depois desse set acho que enfim tô calibrado no jogo, ainda mais porque conquistas de zerar sem morrer sempre me deixam nervoso kkkkkk

mastered, the hitless run was hard because of all the stupid deaths u can take. I found a new love for MM4 and I don't really see why its considered one of the worse MM games.

Mastered! This might be one of my favorites from the classic series. The soundtrack is better than I remember, the boss weapons were interesting to experiment with, and Mega Man finally controls much better than in previous games. It’s a really solid title all around. My only complaint is that squeaky bar sound effect; it bothers me more than it should.

The set is outstanding; it was a great challenge and made me appreciate 4 a lot more. Thanks for the set!
