Every single one of these that pops gives me a blast of endorphins right into my forebrain. I'm glad this set is here and I'm glad it's not on the core set. Love it.

For anyone who wants to try this set in the future, please remember that if you reach a high enough level before defeating Ness' Nightmare that you will not receive all of the stat buffs. This takes place in the list right before the last two achievements, but most of these are items you can return to with [m] exceptions. The Attack Slugs or Major Psychic Psychos, for example, can be refought after defeating Ness' Nightmare, so you don't NEED to get them before clearing Magicant.

Also, the Criminal Caterpillar and Master Criminal Worm are enemies you should look into to grind Paula, Jeff, and Poo. Ideally Ness can stay dead while you do this so he doesn't gain any levels until you're sure he won't surpass Lv90 or so before getting the eighth melody. I'm pretty sure I got the other three party members really close to Lv99 with the Master Criminal Worm.

One last thing is that you don't need to defeat Giygas in this run, so even though you'll be getting some of the best equipment anyways, you won't have to worry about that after getting the Gutsy Bat.

Somehow, while looking for the Goddess Ribbon, I got a lone Mechanical Octobot to give me a Meteotite. I have a witness too. But I am glad there is no achievement for that, cause I'm sure it would have been hell otherwise.

Level 20 beating up skate punks and still nothing.. Gutsy bat was even faster lol when it takes so long you always wonder if you do the right enemy or need to unlock something first

Mastered!!! Took me 8 days to complete this set along with the normal one, very great experience, the feeling of having obtained a rare item is great every time it happens, I feel fulfilled that I got the Mechanical Octobot drop while I got the Ghost of Starman

Mastered! For some reason the super plush bear was harder to find than the gutsy bat and magic frying pan. Still a fun set tho

Mastered! Never thought I'd go for a 128-challenge run, but here I am. This set made it really fun :D
Even got the Mechanical Octobot (twice!!) while hunting for the Goddess Ribbon. But I'm happy that it is not part of the set.

Just mastered it! This was my first subset, too. The Goddess Ribbon gave me the most trouble, but the others weren't too hard. Really fun set, though!

I think I actually found the Skate Punk (hard to fight solo, looks same as other enemies near it) and the Chomposaur (starts with a shield so you have to do Spy grind) to be the worst. Sometimes you get lucky RNG, sometimes you don't though lol - the Attack Slug ended up being my longest grind of all, even though it shouldn't be so hard. Smilin' Sphere is fairly annoying as well since you have to chase it all over the desert.

Mastered! Somehow Musica's Sudden Guts Pill and Military Octobot's Meteotite were harder to get than the Horn of Life and the Gutsy Bat.

Until myself or someone else can do some investigation and repair, it may be best to avoid stealing with Jeff, or at least steal at your own risk.

Mastered! According to RetroArch, this took me 24:37:07 in real time. I got 4 of the achievements via manual unlock requests because I had already completed their conditions in the main set, so including them my total time would have probably been over 30 hours.

I've gotta say, this was WAY more annoying than I expected. I've played a ton of Pokemon so I'm used to 1% encounters, but for whatever reason these 1/128 drops were a lot more RNG dependent imo.

Some achievements took me less than 5 minutes while others took me 5+ hours. Thankfully I got really lucky with the Manly Fish's Horn of Life which I expected to be the most annoying achievement and I got it in under 20 minutes - having to grind for that in the slow movement speed of Deep Darkness would have been torture.

I'm just glad this is over. One more subset to add to the collection :)

Entire set should now support stealing items with spy so long as you survive the fight. Also fixed issues where running away or dying in a fight in which the enemies held the rare drop would award the achievements, which afflicted many (or all) of them. Let me know if you encounter any difficulties.
