They could allow us to win the first badge without pokedex requisite, I mean, this game has a rubber banding exp earning method of lowering the exp you get the higher level you are in relation to your adversary, and pickup ability only gives you Rare Candy at level 21 (rarely). The beginning of this is a nightmare more than the usual :(

Mastered! According to RetroArch, this took me about 63:16:52 in real time and my final In-Game time was 84:31. The first milestone alone took 23:59 of that In-Game time. Due to the changes in experience mechanics, I recommend repeatedly whiting out on the gym leader to level up a team of 5 Pickup Lillipus (Level 21+) and then collecting rare candies until you have enough to pass the first milestone. With my Pickup team I was able to collect about 50 Rare Candies over the course of the game which I consider pretty lucky. After the first milestone, it gets considerably easier as you get access to Audino Grinding. The only other major hurdles beside the first milestone are the various evolution stones you have to randomly get from dust clouds. These stones could either appear instantly or could take a very long time. I got lucky and managed to get them all pretty quickly. Don't let the high level evolutions towards the end of this challenge intimidate you, they're really fast with the Lucky Egg + Audino grinding. Overall, this is the easiest POC I've done since Sapphire version. From what I've heard, W2 is supposed to be one of the hardest so I'm a bit scared about what is to come. As @gustavovaladares mentioned, it would be nice if the first milestone were optional as it's ridiculous compared to everything else in this game. I would also appreciate it if the rest of the post-game were added.

Finally Mastered! It was my first Professor Oak Challenge and it will be not my last. :) I liked it, sure it's very grindy in the beginning, but it's very satisfying when you earn the badge and continue to the next section. :)
