im glad i mastered it but ugh i had terrible rng with the final boss trying to no hit run it was a nightmare never doing it again EVER

I think the set is broken. Just completed the boomeranga chievement and 100% in first level but neither unlocked.

Considering the game has crazy RNG on where fire is going to drop to damage the player, I would love a guide / explanation for how anyone was able to defeat Rourke without damage a mere 5 to 10 minutes after completing the 100% on the mission.

@ St3v0 as someone who mastered it the Helga and Rourke no hit boss run is EASILY the worst Achievement of the set the fire is 100% rng and just have to prey it dose not hit you along with being caught off by Rourke him self if you pick a bad time to toss the boomer range and he either pulls out his gun or runs at you and punches you due to being locked in place when tossing the boomer rang making you unable to dodge

all i can say is just keep trying and don't feel bad if you have to turn off hardcore and get it at normal difficutly with save states i was literly pulling my hair at how many times i was sniped by a fire ball by the end i was about to give up but that old school one more try mentality kicked in and i got it in the end

all i can really say is GOOD LUCK and pray the RNG gods smile on you for a try

@St3v0 my advice for that:
As fast as you can run away from Rourke at the beginning of the battle, and keep him in the corner of the screen, toss the boomer, and while Rourke is in the corner, toss at him, just keep doing this:
-toss the boomer
-run while it’s spinning
-once Rourke is at the corner, toss the boomer at him twice
-keep running until Kida stops spinning and to get a safe distance from Rourke.
-repeat
Be careful not to step into fire!

@Kingknuts and @KeiraLunar I finally got it done. I felt so silly once I realized there is a certain place that fire does not drop. Thank you both for your tips. You both helped me get stick with it. The long range boomerang is what saved my sanity!

@St3vo Congrats so was that the last achievement then you mastered this game now ? also glad i helped thoe i think KingKnuts had the better tips i was just going off by memory but hey you figured something out as well cause i always figured the fire dropped in random spots but there was some open gaps all the time apparently

So far my favorite mastered game. It was so fun, this game is so well done. It’s like a PS2 game. And the boss fight was really easy - made it on hardcore 💪🏼

I always loved this game. Very impressive for the time! Pretty good set. The damageless final boss achievement got me pretty mad, but I'm so glad I finally got it done!

The final boss isn't that bad... For Helga, just run without going too far and stop next to the propeller but more to her side, dodge when she shoots and the diagonal angle should get each one. For Rourke, equip purple boomerang. Hit him once, hit the center object. Stay about 4 5 steps from him and hit him, once he starts moving go slightly forward and press to start throwing the boomerang, turn towards him when Milo's about to release. Hit center thing as necessary

Mastered. The game itself was pretty mediocre, but I only had a demo when I was younger that enticed me to play it now, so very little nostalgia. The set was alright and covered about what you would expect, aside from maybe gathering all the clear crystals per stage or something more out-of-the-box, but I don't mind. I hated the vehicle levels with a passion, and some of the regular stages felt like they went on forever.

No clue what the complaint is with the final boss no-hit. It seemed incredibly easy; almost got it first try when I didn't even know how to damage the boss for a good while. The most difficult part was aiming with only d-pad input. Use the blue crystal on your boomerang and keep your distance, I guess is the tip I would give.
