"losing energy below the basic point" means losing energy below the level you start the game with. If you will approach the boss/warden fight with energy below lvl 8, or lose it to this point - achievement won't be granted.

I'm ashamed that I never got around to finishing this set 2 years ago when i started it, but if I'm honest it worked out for the best -- Salsa made a better set than I woudl've. This game is excellent and you owe it to yourself to play it.

Optomon is name from english localization. Gurgle is original japanese.

Mastered! What a wonderful game! This gets an easy spot on my Top 5 NES games of all time! It's exactly the kind of challenge I came to RA for: a FUN challenge!
