Man, the hidden gloves were annoying. I cant make a video, but: head left out of daybreak. Go left 2 screens, down 1 screen. Its hidden behind a pillar. Head left 1 screen, use the boots to fly up, then right again. Voila!

Sucks when you miss Achievements for levels because you gain a couple levels at once. Really seems like something that should be fixed.

The rank achievements still do not pop if you gain enough experience to pass more than one rank without speaking to a guru. Not sure if this is what the achievement programmers intended or not?

Gonna echo the comment complaint about ranks. It would be really nice not to miss some of those things because the experience you get jumps you up multiple ranks.

There's likely little that can be done about the rank achievements getting skipped. The game immediately assigns you the highest rank you qualify for, so for all intents and purposes you never received those skipped ranks.

You could, but since the game doesn't give you the title until you go to the Guru with the right amount of experience, it'd pop early.

Any idea where to find the "This is a Dry County" bar? I've nearly searched everywhere and beaten all dwarven enemies and get get this chievo to pop up

Mastery #192: While there were a few times that enemy locations felt cheap, and the passwords sometimes being difficult to tell each letter apart (especially e and c), I'm still glad to have finally tried out one of the Xanadu games (even if it wasn't directly made by Falcom).

Mastered in Hardcore Mode. Had to redo a few because the site crashed the other day. Redid the grind, unlocked what all didn't take at first. And there ya go. Completed. I didn't have negative thoughts and always remembered my mantra.
