Alright, I give up on this one. This hacks sucks in absolutely everything it goes for. Giga Attack does only 2 damage to bosses. It also cancels your invincibility frames, so most of the time you just get absolutely destroyed trying to use it, even with all hearts and tanks. The game only lets you use it when it feels like it anyway because your button presses are ignored, a completely useless feature. Pretty much every boss was ruined due to random invincibility bullshit, unnecessary waiting and arbitrary speed changes. Moth and Stag were the worst ones, and I didn't even see the fortress levels. You could forget about the Giga Attack and play it like the regular game, but there's a glitch that can happen where X stops shooting, stuck in a never ending charging state. This is a just a worse version of the original, so stay away!

The thing about the giga attack is that you MUST activate it by pressing the button while X is going upwards, when he's falling, you can't do the giga attack, when he's at the peak of a jump, you can't do the giga attack, but I agree, this hack is full of fake difficulty, it's not difficult, it just drags for so long that you eventually gives up, I would totally try to get this set if the game at least felt like the original X2
