Oh boy. I played this long ago but between the baffling gameplay design choices and the agonizingly slow combat I just gave up. I'm going to take a crack at it again now that there's a set. Emulator fast-forward is going to be a godsend.

One of the worst games I've ever played and what a huge letdown for us Lunar fans.

And that's saying something that I would rather play Mugen Souls and Time And Eternity over this game. That's saying something.

…..But as a JRPG Fanatic, it's a blessing and a curse. And this time, huge curse. :"( I need to finish this game one day. At least I'll get an "achievement" for it. More like a slap, lol.

Woah now this brings me back.
Got it for like 3 quid back when GameStation were still around, definitely gonna give the set a go for the nostalgia alone. Plus I always found it comical that the girl's weapon was her umbrella 🙃

GGs. As RAs resident Lunar super fan, Im pleased to announce the first mastery of this game. As I so love to do, heres an awesome speech about my real world experiences with this game back at launch. I preordered this game. All my hopes and dreams were riding on this game. Finally, we had more Lunar. I took off of work to spend the day getting lost in a brand new Lunar. Spoiler. This did not happen. A week or so later I stopped playing and never went back to it. I had a bitterness in my heart that never subsided. But then I decided I wanted to revisit the game here on RA, and Ive been so patiently awaiting a set. Well, here we are. How did it stand up? ...Surprisingly well if Im to be blunt. Not great or anything, but solid. Being able to look things up online and not just fumbling around this game made it a much more enjoyable experience. So if you are a Lunar fan and you've been burned, or you just have heard the memes, maybe give it a shot after you master some of the more worthy entries in the series. Ok sorry, rant over. Really, its everyone else's fault for letting me get first mastery. You knew this would happen.
