Fairly playable, although it'd be nice if you had more control over the ball's trajectory (feels random), and the dead zone in the middle of the court is frustrating. It'd be fun multiplayer!

This is actually good for a 2600 sports game! Good set thanks, got to try the various modes out (thankfully no invisible ones lol)

Mrwelsh - I tested this and it's definitely not random, how you are moving when you hit and the direction you hold both affect the result. I kept reloading the same serve to test this and there was a lot of variety to where the ball could be placed, but it was consistent if you stayed in the same spot and just hit the button with nothing else. Not always consistent from serve to serve though so you are right about it too lol.

I bet this would be fun and intense multiplayer and I never thought I would say that about a 2600 sports game, genuinely surprised they built on pong so much on the 2600!

This is worth a playthrough.

When you change players speed ensure to hard reset then enter the speed settings or it does not activate the achievement. Ensure tracking is on to know you are set up correctly, I played through a slow v fast without resetting first so missed the cheevo and had to do it over lol.

sub 1 minute win on traditioal slow vs slow! i got extremely lucky with the rng here
