Lol i am still open to removing the No Turning Back, or perhaps leaving it as just for level 1. One very skilled player seems to have mastered it already though

Took me a long time to do the No Turning Back for Mission 1, I don't even want to imagine the grind for the other missions lol

No Turning Back cheevos are not too hard. They do not reset on death so unless you press down you can retry from checkpoint until you run out of lives. Hardest stages for these are actually 1 and 5.

It is nice to have some difficult to earn achievements. It gives the true fans of this game/series/system a reason to keep coming back

Is there a fixed number of enemies you need to kill before being able to enter the fortress?

yes but i am unsure what the value is. Somewhere between 6 and 10 I would say. Maybe someone else can tell us for sure

8 kills. But they only start counting once fortess appears and screen stops scrolling.

@retrodave82 I like your sets a lot- you do a good job of balancing difficulty and fun with the reward of achievements. Please keep up the good work - I for one am very grateful for more 2600 sets, the endless hacks of Mario/Pokemon/etc ...

... don't do anything for me, and I'm a huge fan of breadth before depth, ie, filling out the earlier titles that are fun and challenging (and not a slog to master) is what this community is about :)
