omfg I ended up in a wall after farming 230 gun and finishing area 5. Soft locked. Something about the swimming physics and being hit by the little grey guys. Ugh.

oh some good news: it appears this romhack doesn't reset your gun if you reset the game. As long as you don't power off you keep your gun's progress even after you reset.
