Mastered! According to RetroArch, this took me 17:48:30 in real time. I finished with a final Win/Loss ratio of 542 / 86, not very good tbh lmao

This is the probably the best hidden gem game I ever played as a kid. I can't believe they managed to make a fighting game this fun on the limited hardware of the DS, it's really impressive.

The story, characters, soundtrack, mechanics, etc. are all top notch. The Postgame content and easter eggs hidden throughout the game really reward exploring and make this a joy to play.

It's a shame this game bombed outside of Japan, it's definitely the best DS game I've ever played gameplay-wise.

As for this achievement set, it's very good. About half of your time will be spent on the main story and half of your time will be spent on optional objectives added in the Postgame. Pay attention to the missable "easter egg" achievements throughout the campaign as it would be annoying to have to replay up to the point of those cheevos.

Completing all the Mission Battles is probably the hardest achievement skill-wise imo. Some of those Mission Battles are rom-hack hard difficulty. In particular, the final Combo Mission Battle involving the gravity gun is the single hardest fight in the game in my personal opinion. If you can complete these, you will be in the home stretch with the rest of the set.

Getting a streak of 100 in the Dungeon Arena is daunting, but if you prepare the right Parts, it can be very consistent (only 3/100 battles have acid, the rest are similar to what you've done in the story).

I expected getting a combo of 600 to be one of the hardest achievements, but I found a strategy that makes it trivial and I managed to get a combo of 964 with it lmao. Check the forum post for that cheevo if you get stuck.

Seriously, I cannot recommend this game enough, it's the best game you've never heard of.
