On console it's actually easier I think, though I'm definitely used to the controller. On emulator, using the mouse as a zapper makes it much harder because you can't freely move it to target the enemies like you could on console.

Congrats to mastering the game DonCosmo & Hippo. I knew what a pain just beating Stage 7 was in Game A so I definitely wasn't going to make a no death achievement for that.

Because Mad City is 1) a different game with different memory addresses and 2) is a joke of a game difficulty-wise when you consider how easy it is and I made & valued these achievements for the challenge that Bayou Billy has, not Mad City

Fortunately, getting the Game Mode A achievements shouldn't be a problem anymore for anyone. I managed to get the Practice Mode Shoot Em Up Game A achievement with a Sinden Light Gun.

Just play Mad City. Bayou Billy is one of the worst games I ever played as a kid and is just as bad over 30 years later. Tedious combat, broken difficulty, one of the worst games ever made. Don't make your opening enemies take 7 hits to kill and be as tough as the main character! Compare this pile of shit to Final Fight. One of these games is a master work, the other is for masochists. Mad City, on the other hand, is okay, and properly difficult.

Mad City is a joke with how easy it is. I think one bad thing in Bayou Billy are the driving stages not allowing you to take hits and not die like Mad City does after they give you a life meter that depletes in 1 hit. The other thing I think is better in Mad City is the multiple endings that I wish they kept in Bayou Billy. The rest is just learning how to get good at the game much like many other Konami games. CV3 (my favorite CV) took me way longer to beat than Bayou Billy. Though when I rented it as a kid, I couldn't even get past the first screen haha. But as an adult it did not take me long to learn. I wish Rocky & Rocco (the final boss pair) could be beaten without the whip.

How are we supposed to play the light gun stages? I've done searches and only seeing a need for hardware / different roms for the software mod needed for LCD lag... ? Is there some simple way that I can't find? Help! I want to finish badging this game. :D

Thanks Mutawarrior, had to move back to RetroArch and that can do it. Just wondering why those are even achievements though.. It's not like it's playing the game as intended. Doesn't make sense to me. Anyway, thanks again.
