As someone who gets overwhelmed by the openness of options available in Lemmings, manipulating the environment is a lot more fun, albeit more limited, approach. Really fun game!

geez...controlling this game with a mouse is a nightmare. Anybody have any better control setups that work better for DS games? Maybe using an actual touch screen?

@kylejohnston89 if you’ve got a smart phone, that’s definitely the best way. I play all DS games on my iPhone now, and it works great with the touch controls.

Yeah uh, mouse + controller is just not a good match here.
Outside of that, the game is pretty fine, except for the bosses. The last damageless one is absolutely horrendous. I think that'd be true even on actual console too.

A tip for future players: Getting a gold star in some levels requires getting a full nonstop bonus and ending on a full chain goal. You don't have to have all the minis going at once, just don't tap a mini to stop it. With proper routing for each puzzle it's not too hard to get. Remember, you can change the minis direction at any time by dragging in the direction you want them to go and still get the nonstop bonus.

This and also, golden minis have to be the last one going through the door since they're worth double the points (and you'll hear a jingle if you did it correctly)

Really a good game. Played it a lot on the original DS, but it's a way less enjoyable experince without a touchscreen.

I cant believe that i never noties the gigantic red flag that are the controls, My god if only they made the change that if you give a order to a mini that the camera states the same. That whould have give it from a 3/10 on controls to a 5/10. BUT NOOOOOOO they had to make it that it will follow the mini you give a order to. And if you then quickly want to give a order to a different mini you will miss and then that mini will die and you have to restart. GREAT GAME DESIGN GUYS. Thank the Donk that the next game is make a path and not give a order.
