Thanks for the great set, never heard of this game before. I'm impressed!

There's not much that isn't impressive about a 75fps bullet hell on a handheld that's almost 20 years old.

Had to temporarily demote the set, though. Memory is more dynamic than I thought.

A word of warning, this game seems to run too fast in Retroarch's Beetle Wonderswan core currently; in the Steam and 360 releases the game lags tremendously as bullets fill the screen, but I've had no lag whatsoever in Retroarch.

@ Gamechamp: But does the game run at 75fps in the Steam/360 releases? (like it does on the real hardware)

On Steam the display setting allows for a variety of framerate settings both below and above 75fps (though not including). I have no idea about how the technical stuff would work, but I've read the 360 version (and presumably all later versions) was port using the source code and the slowdown was manually recreated for that version, so the nature of the framerate might not be the same?

In that case, it might be a problem with Beetle Wonderswan not emulating the original hardware slowdowns. But I must confess I'm no expert on the matter.

Also no expert on the real hardware, but on MiSter there is not a lot of slowdown unless it gets very busy, on x360, the game felt rather laggy and slow even on the first levels. Will def try and see how it feels here as i do like this game a lot!
