Seems the achievements are bound to Player 1, but the freeintv core binds the first controller to Player 2. I'll see if I can play on PC.

Okay. After starting the game, you have to press whatever key swaps Player 1/2 controls. On an 8BitDo controller, it's the Select button. On PC, it's Right Shift.

Thanks intylab, I couldn't understand why after a couple of games the controls suddenly stopped working! I guess I hit right shift and couldn't work it out for about an hour until I came here and read your comment. Thanks again!

Me and my brother used to try one uping each others scores in this for hours on one of those cheap plug n play things you used to be able to buy at like drug stores and stuff. Great memories. Honestly wish I still had that little plug n play controller, all the intellibivison games(the good ones lol) in what was basically just a blue Sega Genesis controller

@fvgh12345 I got that plug n play controller thingy around here somewhere! Got it from a car boot (flea market?) and never actually tried it out
