Mastered. Had a blast with the difficulty curve and insane story. Some of the dialog goes off the rails so hard it reminded me of early 2000s wild west internet. Cheers

GG, interesting thief mechanics on the hack but kinda lacks a incentive to go pacifist mode since you can get the same ultra ball/full restore stuff by stealing the Viridian shop.

Game could not be identified regardless of the patch I use. Using a 1.0 clean base, both squirrels and europe were tried, plus the patch off the main site. Tried every GBA emulator Retro has available and it's not working for me. Emulator still says game could not be identified.

If anyone who got this working is willing to share how they got theirs to be recognized I would be very grateful. Very fun game and gunning for achievements give it some replayability for me so would love to get this running.

Mastered! Thanks for the set! A very interesting take on Gen 1's backstory and lots of fun to play. To JohnathanHyde: I grabbed the patch from Earthsouls' post at the official forum topic link, patch Pokemon - FireRed Version (USA) (no-intro, NOT Rev 1), and used mGBA core on RetroArch.

My first time trying RetroAchievement and my very first mastered set! This romhack is so awesome and the achievement set is soo fun. Loved every minute of it

Some tips to save time completing this set. Play the whole game until before you enter the pokemon league while trying to get your bounty as low as possible (avoid every possible battle). Then save the game and copy the save somewhere. Bribe the police until your bounty is 0 and finish the game to get pacifist route achievement. Then reload the save and get the genocide route achievement.

Mastered - I was in love with this game at first but it gets increasingly edgy towards the end. It's objectively a good hack with good gameplay mechanics but I don't understand the need of that weird Pokemon War/Failed Experiment/Oak Supervillain plot. It's like a edgy Fanfic of a 16 year old and I had to fast forward these story bits in order to enjoy the late-game. The whole Team Rocket related story is actually well made though.

The set is fine, the Genocide Route achievement can be tricky when going in blind but that's pretty much it. Beating Red in Mt. Moon is difficult/grindy.
