For those wondering, the story difficulty achievements don't stack. It's not an issue though as you can easily demolish the story if you're good at this game. There seems to be an issue with the Super Hard story achievement. I'm also not sure, but story mode achievements stopped unlocking for me on the US and EU version of the game. I've switched to the Japanese version and they're unlocking except for Super Hard.

Issue was related to an address that reset its value whenever you lost a match in Story and has since been fixed.

I love Magical Drop, as Money Idol; One of the first requests that I made was wondering for achievements to NeoGeo series, but this version is joyful too. I'll be looking for master this, but it's hard and I need more patience...

Oh. I was unlocking the story achievements in the Japanese version by that point as I had gotten really good. lol

I would say the self challenge on hard will be the most difficult achievement. That challenge requires you to make a lot of combos if you want to survive. Story mode on hard and super hard can be challenging, but you will at least have infinite continues. You can destroy your opponents quickly if you make a lot of long or quick combos.

Anyway, this is a great set and I had forgotten how addictive Magical Drop is.
