Leaderboards were added for all of the stages. For the core 50, you can go for Real Time Attack, Most Money, and Fewest Coins Touched. For the Really Final Chapter, just in-game time is enough.

Mastered! Fun game! Better than Wario Land 1, but not as good as Virtual Boy and Wario Land 3. The boss fights felt really cheap sometimes and I feel the devs got particularly lazy on where to put the treasure rooms. The most annoying part was trying to find the factories secrets, they serious expect the player to find something that has no tell whatsoever?

Some levels' leaderboards haven't been triggering for me, using RALib with the gambatte core. If it helps I can try to put together a list later. I do appreciate this version finally having achievements, and the leaderboards are a fun extra challenge :)

All 3 leaderboards associated with each of these levels didn't work. I made sure the core and emu were up to date before checking, too.

The leaderboards in question should now start up appropriately. Four of them used different starting screens, and one changed Wario's Y position in an evil way.

Eddie's right, there's no reason for the GB monochrome version to even have achievements, as this one and that one are the exact same game. You can even play this one on a mono or Super Game Boy.

It's probably not technically possible when it's completely different platforms like N64 and PS1. But I would imagine that if the Wario Land II monochrome version's hashes were linked to the colour version's achievements, the achievements would still work. The Game Boy Color, after all, is basically the same platform as the original Game Boy, the only difference is literally in the name, the colour display - the GBC was fully backwards compatible.

Mastered this after Wario Land 1.

I remember playing it as a kid. But boy somehow it felt super boring to me. I needed to really motivate myself to master it...

I enjoyed more the first Wario for some reason.
