so why does the time trials jump up in time?

Because this game has some weird glitch adding some "bonus" time after finishing the last lap. The leaderboards and achievements cover this glitch

Players: If you're struggling, set your core CPU Emulation Speed option to fast instead of accurate. This was the only way for me to get the time trials!

The time trials make this a decent little challenge but still a quick play. You only have to do one lap for the Broadcast achievement. Thanks for the set!

Mastered, fun little set. The time trial time jumping up by about a lap after finishing each time trial was quite frustrating though.

It was fun… as soon as I understood the bug adding 20s!
But it is no problem except for the star cup course. As long as you can finish a lap without removing your finger from the acceleration button, you're good to go.
