It was fun… as soon as I understood the bug adding 20s!
But it is no problem except for the star cup course. As long as you can finish a lap without removing your finger from the acceleration button, you're good to go.

For those who have difficulty with "Ghost of the Rainbow", choose Yoshi - 150cc, do not release your foot from the accelerator and when you are close to the finish line, release the accelerator... I spent 3 hours trying and this was the only way I could do it.

Mastered! Naturally, “Like a live Broadcast” would have an ambiguous description to accompany its incorrectly capitalised title. You only need to drive one lap, while holding R-Left, and you can slow down if you want to. Note that the button should be held from frame 1 (even before the race starts). I found no difference in my character performance, but I had the best luck with Peach. The timer adds 12 seconds of “penalty time” after each race, and the time attacks account for this, but they are still very difficult. On Mushroom if you can frame-perfectly hop through the dirt it won’t slow you down, Flower is the hardest but can be completed with practice, and Star is the most lenient; just don’t fall off and don’t let off the gas. Good challenging set!

what help me on the time trail to beat them barely was i chose yoshi and held down the gas and just jump around the coner and on the star map if you hold down the gas the whole time dont jump the coners you can still fall off one time but make sure you dont let go of the gas and you can still beat the time but only once any more you have to reset
