Heads up for any completionist types, you'll need at least 3 full playthroughs to snag all the boss achievements. Hawk with Lise, Kevin with Carlie, and Angela with Duran. Either can be the lead and third character can be anyone.

I'm having issues progressing in this game right near the beginning. I can't exit the Stonesplit Gap cave at the right side. Perhaps I have a bad rom, or is there something I've missed? Any feedback would be appreciated.

class achievements can only be done once per save or can you reset and transform the class?

Yes you can change class, reset, and then change to the other class for both cheevs. Two things to note: In some cases you may have to use a form of transportation (Boat, Booskaboo, Flammie) to unlock the cheevs, and secondly:

Secondly: you need at least 3 and 1/2 playthroughs for all 100 achievements. 1 full playthrough for each of the 3 storylines, and what I deem a "half" playthrough, which just consists of playing until the second class change to finish up the classes

Bishop and Fenrir Knight class upgrades wouldn't pop for me on Trials of Mana (World) (MSU-1) (Remastered OST) (RedScorpion) (6.0).sfc. Transportation methods didn't work either. Used the save file with Seiken Densetsu 3 (Japan) (En) (NCorlett,LNFT) (1.01) (BugFix).sfc instead and they popped. Moved a copy of the save file to the side if it's wanted!

Mastery #536: I'm torn on the game.
While it does look great for the SNES, the game also felt like it was pushing the limits of the system, amongst over issues. Many areas with a complicated and confusing to navigate layout (not to mention the many times where the HUD covers up an important pathway), the many times I went from max health to KOed because the game would not allow me to access the item/spell menu because a piece of text was onscreen indicating an enemy special move was about to happen (had one time where a boss did three special moves back-to-back, taking out Carlie without any chance of me stopping it), and the delay between your attacks without an indicator for when you could attack again, not to mention the leveling system only letting you increase one stat per level makes most of the game feel like you're underleveled (even when you're not).

It's still an interesting experiment of multiple characters to choose from, with their own stores and reasons to go on this quest, but it feels like it needed a bit more polish to be a great gem.

Almost all the problems with this game are fixed in the "Sin Of Mana" romhack available over on ngplus.net - it has so much more polish and better balancing than the base game.

I really hope it gets added to the database someday and gets a set. Probably a long shot but IMO it's the best way to play this game.
