Ok, i tried so hard and first i thought, im not sure if the set is too hard or maybe impossible, but there is definitely a way to get the achievements on a legit way. here is a tip, dont forget to start first, dont let the cpu begin.

I dont know exactly, but you can press the "system-buttons" to change the player who begins.

I'm bout ready to punch my monitor over the specific one... the cpu prioritizes blocking vertically EVERY time no matter what setup I use. It'll let me win only horizontally and that is b.s. I suck at these types of games so coming up with a strategy seems impossible.

Yeah, I've been trying the To be specific achievement and every time when the CPU had to choose between blocking the vertical line on 11th column and a horizontal line on one of the planes, it chose the former. Is this always the case due to programming or is it just bad luck?

I think it's programming and I think the title of the achievement also alludes to the fact you have to do this a specific way to trick the AI into letting you get it... or maybe I'm just reading too much into the name.

In case it's helpful to someone, set the right difficulty switch to the A position to start first.

eah I just beat it multiple difficulties, trying both current and 2014 Stella cores, nothing popped, then I beat it on difficulty one and got "On the top" achievement while on level 1 on the current Stella core. Definitely didn't enter free mode either I checked my control mappings. Game is frustrating & time consuming enough without having to worry about the set being bugged. I'm gonna have to skip this one for now
