Does anybody have any tips on whether to go straight for the speed run and lack of saving achievements straight ahead, or rather to do it in new game +? It's been awhile since I've done any survival horror

Since youre going for every ending anyway just do them in separate runs at your comfort level. More runs = more familiarity.

Congratulations on the work bro, it turned out amazing. Silent Hill 2 gameplay isn't the best but it was still quite fun and challenging to get the achievements, thanks Vatts.

I cannot for the life of me find a working version of this that properly loads the Achievement Set... I've tried SH2 US, EU, SH2 Greatest Hits/Director's Cut... but i cannot for the life of me find the right one. There's some that have multiple versions like a 1.20, 2.01, Beta... is there a SPECIFIC one i'm supposed to use? I looked at the Forum discussion but no matter what version I use it won't load the achievements... I'm playin on PSX2 cuz i've never been able to get PS2 games to work in RetroArch w/ achievement support, but i've been successful in getting Dragon Quest VIII and Final Fantasy X International to work with Achievement support. What am I doing wrong here?

It has to be version 2.01 which is the Greatest Hits version. I'm not sure what problem he was having but as long as you have that version it should work.
