I checked the leaderboards in RALibretro and it seems to be fine. I can have more than 10000 points.

At one point I was going to leave a moaning message about how high 100k requirement is but once you get to key levels, as long as you grab both for 10k bonus per level you can soon reach the required score.
5th Pacman completed in a row and funnily enough right after the original 2600 Pac - a world of difference! This is a great version, patterns work too (well I worked out a pattern for lower half until bonus at least!)

It was good to play this after the original and realise just what they could have done if they used Pacmans massive allure to release their own Starpath Supercharger - the sales of this version of Pacman and the enhancement over 2600 could have avoided the crash - and Devs would have moved to 4k RAM as standard after Pacman came out.

Anyway a great game 5/5 and excellent set. Thanks Dev

This game is as much an incredible technological feat as it is incredibly difficult. Typical tools that every Pac-Man player is used to having at their disposal are not present.

The game isn't truly deterministic. Patterns that work flawlessly in one run of the game utterly fail in a subsequent attempt.

Pac-Man doesn't have the significant corner turning advantage in this version like he does in others, so you can't wind your way through S curves to get away from Blinky.

To make matters worse, the dot-eating disadvantage is exacerbated in this version. Ultimately the only real tools you have are the tunnels and the limitation of the ghosts' inability to travel up through the T channels in the center of the maze like the arcade version.

The game also seems more blind to the right side of the maze than the left side, making the upper left corner the most difficult and dangerous to clear. Ghosts tend to remain circling around the pen when you're on the right side of the field.
