Ok I obtain Gold on Crawler. First time done twice with Malcolm. Obtain 1st time with Mike. Perhaps achievements work only with Mike as player

Achievements only work with the top left selectable character (red bike) as each character had their own mem addresses rather than a single one that would attach to all characters.

i dont know why im not getting any of the "trick" achievements (roll city, z, etc). im using snes9x core and version 1.9.1

I'm already noticing some issues with the updated flags for the "get gold on [cup]" achievements that were made last December. I got the gold on Crawler last night...no activation. And I just got gold on Shuffler, once again no activation. I don't have the ostrich or cheetah cups unlocked yet, so could that be an issue?

Just read through the comments....there really should be some kind of note in the achievement that you have to be playing as Mike...could have saved me some time. *rolls eyes*
